Your oak worktoptop is oiled with a special water proof oil. This oil will protect the wood and it will not be affected by any temperature differences, therefore it will never crack. If you place a hot saucepan on top of your wood kitchen counter top, the oil will protect the wood for a certain time.

Solid oak is not affected from water. If any water is spilled on it, you can wipe it off with a cloth. Besides, the special oil will protect your counter top against any liquids such as wine, beer, juice and milk, and it causes no stains.

The oil used is not harmful for health. It is being imported from Belgium and it is commonly used for wooden toys.

You can use your worktop in your bathroom as well. The oil protects the wood from humidity.

Your worktop does not accommodate any germs. The enzymes inside the wood kills the bacteria or germs that enter the pores of the wood or because of little knife cuts. As the wood never truly dies, the enzymes inside will remain effective for years.

The trees used for the worktop are attached to each other by a special method. The connection method used is stronger than the tree's own vascular tissue and they never separate from each other.

If your worktop top is harmed in any way, it is very easy to repair. Simple sandpapering or oiling will help with surface problems; whereas bigger damages can be repaired by your carpenter.

The oak tree used for your worktop is acquired from renewable forest resources. It has FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certificate. Only very old trees are cut in these forests. As those trees grow a lot, they prevent the growth of new and younger trees. Therefore, when these trees are cut, many young trees around them will use the rain and sunlight more.

The assembly of your wood counter top is very similar to the assembly of granite or marble ones. An average carpenter can easily assemble. You oil the worktop by a simple piece of fabric.
